I’m quite sure this is vintage, but cannot find a makers mark on it. It does need polishing and has been stored for many years.The inside looks shiny and might be tin. Again, I am not certain. It measures approximately 9 inches in diameter (without handles and 11 inches (including the brass handles) and is approximately 5.5 inches tall. The base measures 5.5 inches also. This old colander would make a nice Country / Farm / Ranch kitchen accent piece for display.
As you can see in the photograph, the bottom of the base is out of round, but looks like it can be easily straightened.
